Helium Blimp - Case study
TATE MODERN - LONDON
|
Federico Pepe & Pierpaolo
Ferrari, of Italian arthouse 'Le
Dictateur', were looking for a striking and
unusual way to display their highly sophisticated
artwork exhibits at the Tate
Modern's, 'No soles for sale' exhibition.
Their agents Blob
Creative Group contacted
Ice inflatables to explore their initial ideas and after
considering a number of options, decided to purchase one
of our helium filled blimps. |

'Le
Dictateur' opted
for a 4 meter black helium filled Blimp which they would
fly above their exhibition space.
The blimp was printed
with a 2 colour logo to both sides and flown at
approximately 10m from the ground.
They then added a
suspended hanging rail underneath the blimp to which
they attached examples of their artwork.
The effect was breath
taking and really made 'Le
Dictateur' stand
out from the crowd.
The blimp was
installed and maintained by our own staff throughout the
three day event.
